The wine shop's selection

Enoteca La Cave has turned wine not only into its distinctive emblem but also into the core of its knowledge and cultural tradition.

Wine is our greatest passion...

Taurasi, the Barolo of the South, is an intense ruby red wine that tends towards garnet with orange reflections as it ages, especially in the Riserva version. On the nose, it offers a complexity of red fruits combined with spicy, balsamic, and ethereal notes, resulting from aging in wood for several years.

Amarone is produced from the fermentation of dried grapes from the typical grape varieties of Valpolicella, including Corvina (45-95%), Rondinella (5-30%), and Corvinone (up to 50% maximum as a substitute for Corvina). It is characterized by an impenetrable red color tending towards garnet; on the nose, it reveals notes of sour cherries, spices, and vanilla, progressing to more pronounced sensations of leather and cocoa; on the palate, it is wide, velvety, soft, and tannic.

Brunello di Montalcino is a red wine with a Controlled and Guaranteed Designation of Origin, produced in Tuscany, in the territory of the municipality of Montalcino in the province of Siena. This wine, together with Barolo, can be considered one of the longest-lived Italian red wines. It has an intense ruby red color, clear and bright. The aroma is intense, persistent, ample, and ethereal. It is appreciated for its notes of black cherries and berries, with tertiary notes of spices and vanilla due to aging in wooden barrels.

Barolo, one of the noblest wines of Piedmont, is produced exclusively from 100% pure Nebbiolo grapes. Known as the "king of wines and wine of kings," it is highly regarded for its history, tradition, and especially for the commitment and hard work that go into creating a superior quality product. It has a garnet red color with orange highlights, while on the nose, it stands out for its complexity, persistence, and intensity. Fruity and floral notes (violet and vanilla) blend with more spicy and tar-like notes. In the mouth, it is powerful, balanced, and elegant, a wine with great personality.

Nero d'Avola, a pride of our country, is a black grape variety that produces predominantly dry red wines. It is cultivated almost exclusively in Sicily. On the nose, Nero d'Avola expresses hints of sour cherries, black plum, strawberry, chocolate, licorice, and tobacco. It also presents salty notes and aromas of dried herbs.
